hey you guys at the track you should have your crap together. you should tell the drivers at the drivers meeting that the sport four divison or what ever divison for that matter is go to run a semi feature. they never said anything at the meeting thats bull.

when i looked at the board at the shack there was nothing up for a semi feature. you should inform the drivers at the meeting thats what its for!! im getting fed up with all of these people complaining week in and week out in the sport ...

Pits after racing

When is someone going to do something about all the car coming in to the pit after the racing is done. It took me 20 min to find the guy who had me block in so i could get my hauler out in a safe manner. These cars are coming in before racing end and after the fans are in the pits. I seen a kid almost get hit because two of these guy are trying to find a parking spot and not watching all the peaple walking around. During the hobby stock feature my raceceiver didn�t work. I checked it in the pits after the race and it seemed to work. Just wondering if I was the only one with this problem?

That was nice to have the 25 laps again. Hopefully that happens every week. It seemed like everything ran smoothly.

And, in regards to the semi feature, it was posted on the board, as sport 4. Since there were 24 cars. And it was posted at the proper time. None of the officials made a mistake with that. People just need to be a little more observant or ask some questions. Other drivers will help if someone needs it.

Mini-Stock Feature

So, taking a look at the current standings, it looks like that dirty SOB Kurt Naidl was able to maintain his finishing position from this past Saturday's (7/19) Mini-Stock Feature. Why is that? It was VERY clear that he got into the back of Jason Novak and caused that spin, and even though a caution didn't come out, Kurt's finishing position should have been last. Sport 4 Feature Cut to 16 Laps?

After reviewing my video of tonights feature, if you count the laps, it's only 16. Not the 20 it's suppose to be. I know 2 weeks ago it was because of weather that the feature was shortened, but what was the reasoning tonight? There were no cautions, and only one false start. I thought it felt like the race was short, but not until looking at the video was I sure. Let me know what's up. Thanks.

September Destruction Derby...

We have had lots of feedback that some of our drivers and fans missed their favorite events at the July Destruction Derby. Can you please comment here on what events you would like to see added to the order of events, which ones you would like to see gone and if you will be bringing a car/trailer/boat/bus/scooter/skateboard/etc. This will help us prepare a bit more for what events everyone wants to see.

Don, I was wondering if I could mount a camcorder to the rollbar of my enduro car for the march race. I've seen it done on dirt cars, but wasn't sure if it would mess with the transponder, it shouldn't. Let me know if this is OK. I think this would make for a great laugh with friends. Thanks

I just wanted to say AWESOME job to all the guys that ran in the Madison Enduro on July 4th. It was great to see such a nice showing of guys from our area there. It was also very interesting to see how another track runs their operation. I know some of our guys didn't do very well - but it was great to see Todd Welsing win it for the "home" team! Weekly Race Reports

I know it's a small thing, but I wanted to bring it up to your attention. Having the weekly reports for all the divisions is a pretty neat thing for the website. Drivers and most of all, fans and spectators do read them. There are a few local tracks around me, and I read their reports every week, even though I don't race there every week, I have friends that do, and it's nice to see what's going on at the other tracks.

New Aluminum Kirkey Race Seat For Sale

I have for sale a brand new Kirkey 17.5 Economy aluminum race seat. It is a drag seat, but the only difference is that the rib protectors are not as wrapped around as the oval track seats. I do have holes drilled for where it was mounted in the other car I'm putting together. It is a 20 degree layback. Once in the new car, with the roll cage installed it is a little close to the main hoop. I have a new 10 degree that I'll be putting in the car now.

The points for the Mid-Ams are currently incorrect. Those who did not participate in the feature will only be awarded 80 points. Also, the super stock points will revernt back to how they were posted all last week. We appologize about the confusion.

This past Saturday in the Sport 4 Feature, the 64J held up the outside line when we were coming to get the green flag, as a result the car infront of me as well as the car behind me virtually started a 1/2 lap down because of this slow car. I know you watch the leaders closlety on the starts, but it would be nice if a car in the middle or the back of the pack causes other cars to be further behind then intended. that it would be a No-Start, and attempt to try it again, and if they still dont ...

I don't know if everyone saw the article they did in the Herald Times or the weekend section in the center, but there was a great article on "the new 141" with some great pictures of all the renovations so far. Hopefully more people will notice and maybe a few more butts will be in the seats. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so hopefully people take notice especially those who havent been out in a few years.

MID AMERICAN POINTS FOR SERIES RACE

Just wondering how you were planning on doing points for the series race. In previous years, we've received equal points for everyone who started a feature event (whether semi or main event), equal points for qualifying and equal points for being in the heat races. Everyone seemed to like how that worked out in previous times and avoided a lot hassel for the drivers who race at the track weekly.

Sports 4 Technical Question for Tech Crew/ Mike Bunnell

I'm putting together another Sports 4 car. It's pretty much completed and I have a technical question. The car had a sunroof, which I removed. My question is, when I put the sheet metal over the opening to cover it, does it have to be welded, or can it be riveted around the perimeter of the cover? My roll cage has the complete upper hoop, with a center bar going front to back on the hoop, so there is a brace bar in the center of the opening. I wasn't sure if the sheet metal has to be welded ...

I just checked mylaps.com and it said that in heat 2 I finished 7, 1 lap down but I was NOT a lap down and I finished third. I think the transponder must not have pinged on one lap or something. but I wasnt a lap down and thanks to Ed Klug I have video to prove it. Im just letting you know so that you can give me the correct amount of points.

Will the enduro series go to a 65 series tire in the future? Alot of the cars now days come standard with 65 or 60 series. The 70s are getting harder to find. Also the track is looking great, love what you done with it.

Adding Points for Line-up Order Problems

I'm not sure if adding points to a driver's total is the way to make up for getting a line-up wrong. A free pit pass, extra money for payout, yes. But when you add extra bonus points, that could have a big impact on end of season points and positions. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but I think if you ask for feedback from other drivers in all the divisions, I don't think I'm alone. I know it is not that many points, but last year there were co-champions in one or more divisions, ...

I just wanted to bring to your attention that the kid with the flags is all you can see coming out of turns 3&4 before the offical flag man. Its really irritating when you are on the track trying to race and thats all you see. We are suppose to be watch the falg man not him.
