| I picked up a new helmet, in box, but it is for motorcycle. It is DOT and M2005 Snell rated. My question is, can this helmet be used in the Sport 4 division? I got it at a great deal, so couldn't pass it up. If it can't be used on the track, guess it will have to stay on the bike! Let me know. Thanks. Ed |

| | yes that helmet is legal but being a M rating means you will have to get a nomex headsock to wear with it in order to use it. a sa rated helmet has a nomex lining. jimbo |

| Thanks Jimbo, That's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure. My other helmet is a SA Snell. I knew that the MSnells mostly were not tested for fireproofing, and roll cage impact. I just wasn't sure if the MSnell could be used at all on the track. Thanks again. Ed |
