| | I agree allowing 65 series tires and trying to regulate them so that the class is still affordable is an unnecessary hassle. it seems like a lot of work when the rule that we have now is very straight forward and easy to follow. |

| | I do not have a problem using 70 series. There are plenty out there. |

| | I too have no problem with 70 series tires. In my opinion, it would be much less of a hassle sticking with the current tire rules. |

| | Well I think that we should just stick with the 70 series. This is suppose to be a begginers division isn't it??? Changing the tires is not going to benefit in safety. There isn't a shortage of 70 series tires. All you are doing is raising the cost of the sport 4 division. It's not fair to the people who are in this division for fun, being it's a beginner division. People are in this class because it's very cost efficient and easy to get started. If people want to stick all this money into a sport 4 then they should move up. |

| | i'm not a sport 4 racer but just offering my opinion.what the other post are saying is correct.if 70's tires are still available why switch.the division is fine. if there was a shortage of 70's and alot of other tracks were going to 65's then it should be considered.this is an entry level division and if you keep adding performance items to it ,it no longer is a entry level class.i've seen this happen to other division's in racing.it goes from affordable to who ever spends the most wins. keep it simple and cheap, where you can still go to the salvage yard and get your parts.jimbo |

| 141 is the only track around here that does not allow a 65 series tire. None of the other tracks have trouble with the tires, and the tires are around the same price so why would it be such a big deal to run them?

| Just because the size of the tire is differnet from 70 to 65 doesn't mean it will cost more.
If you people are worried about cost maybe the rule should be changed to 75 series. Do your home work before blowing your horn and crying. |

DUH! nobody said the size made it cost more. its the type of tires that are available in 65 series that cost more. do you race here? If it really mattered to you why didnt you politely voice your opinion when it actually mattered rather than complaining about it after the rules came out. seems to me like your the one crying! |

| | First of all I don't think any of these rule have been finalized after the last meeting. Next thing is my opinion will be voiced, on the track with new tires and I will get you a Kleenex to wipe away your tears. |

JFFR(probably jake): Im pretty sure that the rules posted on the website are final but maybe someone can confirm that for us. If they are then you better keep the kleenex for yourself;) |
