FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEW 141 SPEEDWAY READIES FOR '08 SEASON

(Francis Creek, WI) - Track officials are erecting buildings, signs and installing new fencing as 141
Speedway in Francis Creek gets a new facelift just in time for the 2008 racing season.

The season kicks off Saturday, May 17. New co-promoters Bruce Terp and Don Murray have been
giving the 1/4 mile paved oval a new look. "We've got a ton of projects, some of which we'll be working
on right up until opening day," said Murray. "We've completely gutted and remodeled the new Victory
Lane Pub, as well as installing a new main gate, all new lighting and a family picnic area as well."

New landscaping both inside the oval and outside the track has been done. "All of our nights are
sponsored and we've already got $5,000 in a driver's point fund," said Murray. As far as the on
track excitement, all four classes that were run last season will return, along with the 141 Speedway
hobby stocks, which will return after an absence of a few years. "We've got a bunch of local drivers
who are literally digging their cars out of weeds to go racing with us again," said Murray. "It should
be a fun year."

Menchalville's Monte Strouf will be back to defend his championship in the Tisler Salvage Mid American
Stock Car class, while Manitowoc's Tim Conard will do the same in the Manitowoc Motor and Machine
Super Stock division. Two Rivers' Allen Dillion will defend his crown in the Knox's Silver Valley Banquet
Hall Mini Stocks while Reedsville's Rick Lorrigan will be back to defend his Saucy's Sports Bar Sport
4 title.

Highlighting the 2008 season schedule will be the return of the Mid Am Stock Car series on June 28.
Gandrud Chevrolet will be sponsoring the Super Stock series events June 14, July 19 and August 16.

New to the speedway will be the first ever appearances by the United States Super Trucks June 14,
July 19 and August 16. The full sized trucks last raced at 141 in 1998, when Kewaunee's Rick Lemmens
drove to victory. "This season we've got something for everybody," said Murray. "We've got
our traditional enduros scheduled throughout the year and our Dynamite Destruction Derby July 5th.
And we're keeping our adult admission prices at just $8, which is probably the most affordable for
a race track in Wisconsin." Students 11 to 18 years of age are $6 while kids 10 and under are
free with a paid adult.

On opening night sponsored by TA Motorsports the Annie Rose band is scheduled to usher in the
new season with an on track performance immediately after qualifying, which starts at 5:30 p.m.
The first green flag is slated to fly at 7 p.m. For more information on 141 Speedway contact
Patricia Basset at 920 905 0323. The track's website is 141speedway.com. 141 Speedway
is located 20 miles south of Green Bay on County trunk "R" in Francis Creek.
